What is Link Click Week?

Link Click week is a week of arts dedicated to the donghua 'Link Click' (Shiguang Dailiren) and all of it's wonderful characters!On each day of the week, 3 prompts will be given for you to create a fanwork upon. You are free to use any number of that days prompts! For example: if Day 1 had the prompts 'night, song, candy', then you could create a fanart, fanfic, song, etc, based on one of them, two of them, or even all three together.For this week, you can create both ship and non-ship centric content, as well as draw whoever you'd wish, so long as they are from this show! If you want to draw just shiguang, that's fine! Or if you want to draw just Qiao Ling, that's also fine! You are free to draw as many or as few characters as you want, there is no restriction~

EVENT RULES

  • Make sure that your works are tagged with #lcweek2023 or mention @LinkClickEvents for them to be retweeted. We are accepting and retweeting submissions until the 11th of October. (You can post after that as well; just know it may not be reblogged if its too late)

  • No NSFW content; this event is open to general audiences, and as such no nudity, sexual content, or gore is allowed. We accept canon typical violence.
    If you are uncertain whether your work violates these guidelines, please private message the Twitter account to confirm whether your entry is safe or not

  • No AI generated content; this includes but is not limited to: AI art, writing, vocal covers etc. Please respect your fellow creators!

  • No depiction of children and adults in romantic relationships; this includes aging up or down characters. Any such content will not be accepted. This event is open to all, including minors, so please respect that

  • All types of fanmade content are allowed, as long as the work is yours and it follows the rules. That includes art, fanfiction, graphics, music playlists, videos, etc. Plagiarism or reposting other people's work and passing them off as your own is not allowed

  • Discriminating against other participants or towards characters is not allowed; this includes racist slurs or language, homophobia and transphobia etc.

- How late can I submit my work?
We will be frequently checking the tag '#lcweek2023' until the 11th of October! (a week after the event ends) Though there is a chance that they may still be retweeted after!_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _- Do I need to use all the prompts of the day / do I have to participate every day of the week?
That’s all up to you; there's no limitation or quota to meet! You can combine all 3 prompts or you could just use one or two. Similarly, you can participate in any number of days you want or are able to._ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _- Can I just post ship art/fanfics? Similarly, can I just draw a single character for all days?
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with just creating and posting about your favorite ship or character. This week is an event for appreciating all characters of the show- from the most obscure side character to the main trio there is no ‘wrong’ character to post about!_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _- Are important updates given through discord? Do discord members get more information?
The twitter account will be the first to post any announcements! All forms and stages of art are accepted! If you find you don't have enough time, you can share wips or sketches even if you intend to finish them at a later date!
